Subwaze

school project

During my last month at the Flatiron School I worked on Subwaze with three of my classmates. The idea was simple: what if there was something like Waze for the NYC subway system? Well we tried to make just that. Subwaze would automatically detect when you were getting on a subway by using geofences around stops you frequently used. We'd track how long you were on the train compared with how long the ride should have taken, and report delays to future riders. My responsibilities on the project were 1) setting up the backend and connecting it to the application 2) designing the front-end of the application.
